Camper was on tour and all of our guitars were stolen (and my violin and our merchandise) in Montreal, Quebec. All info about the incident is on the Camper Van Beethoven website. Update: Some guy emailed me from Blumenau, Brazil (look in your atlas), and he claimed to have my guitar! He apparently bought it for $1200 from some Robbin A Wickens form East Rutherford, NJ. Unfortunately I think it was a hoax as he finally clammed up and I haven't heard any more. And then another guy wrote in a claimed he bought the guitar last december for $5020, etc... and strangely they had the same first name... This time i said send me a picture of the guitar with today's paper, and suddenly no more contact.. - Bigger than that of course is that it happened again! in Dallas, Texas (I hate this part of Texas...) our trailer was broken into again on the night of Jan 17-18 2005, all guitars and many amps stolen. And keyboards. - A violin maker from Halifax, Nova Scotia has donated a violin! Andrew Kirk of Canadian Violins made this instrument a couple years ago.
